Inspired by the experiences of real-life beat-cops, BLUE CANARIES is a raw and authentic portrayal of the relationships that the police forge with the diverse communities they are supposed to serve and protect. It sheds light on the flawed criminal justice system that inevitably crushes everyone involved. And it examines how our individual sets of ethics and moralities create conflict when pitted against each other.
